A New Sound - Welcome to Patch 2.2
Patch 2.2 has finally rolled out, bringing with it a host of changes. With any luck, the remarkably robust voice chat feature now advertised will soon be enabled. See the test realm summary article below for info about changes to reputation and recipes. 2.2-compatible AddOns have already started rolling out including:
- Our own ReagentData, Reputation, and CraftInfo mods
- Fizzwidget’s ever-useful toolkit, including AdSpace, DisenchantPredictor, Faction Friend, Feed-o-Matic, Gemologist, Hunter’s Helper, ReagentCost, and TrackMenu
- The amazing Telo’s InfoBar (find all his mods in the forums)
- Norganna’s team’s Gatherer and Auctioneer; due to changes in 2.2, Enchantrix has been temporarily pulled out of the final release, but a stable beta can be found here
Other mods may have already been updated, but as usual, the update sites are currently flooded. We’ll keep you posted as we get ‘em!
This patch has also added the new seasonal content for Brewfest; look for a new seasonal page soon covering this important festival. And the event calendar says that the Harvest Festival has just kicked off as well, running through the 30th. Enjoy!
