Our Bloodsail Buccaneers page has been updated to reflect a recent change (possibly back to 1.10, but discovered in 1.11). At one time, once a character’s reputation with Booty Bay hit the “absolutely loathed” stage of 0/36000 Hated (or -42000 overall), the character no longer lost rep with Booty Bay or the spillover reputation losses to the rest of the Steamwheedle Cartel. Now, those spillover losses continue. The end result is that a character seeking friendship with the Bloodsails will end up deeper in the hole with the rest of the Cartel. The impact is approximately an additional 4500 rep points (900 additional level-appropriate pirate kills or 4500 more gray kills). Our heartfelt condolences to those pursuing Bloodsail rep (and those who love them ).
